Pat Frost retired as President of Frost Bank in 2023 after a distinguished 40-year career with the bank in which he directed every area of sales within the organization, including retail banking, marketing, commercial lending, wealth advisors and insurance, and was responsible for the management of 3,000 employees. He played an integral part in the growth of Frost Bank to its position as one of the 50 largest U.S. banks, with $48 billion in assets. And under his leadership, the bank’s trust, brokerage, and advisory assets grew to $54 billion.

Beyond being a recognized and respected leader in the financial services industry, Pat is equally renowned in the nonprofit community as he has served on more than 40 boards and has received numerous awards for his contributions and achievements. He has a passion for community service and has worked tirelessly to further the missions of countless organizations devoted to economic development, health care, education and sports business.

In 2024, Pat was named President of the San Antonio Livestock Exposition after serving on the board’s executive committee for 12 years. For 25 years he has served as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee for the NCAA Men’s Final Four, and he has spent more than three decades on the San Antonio Sports Board, including four years as Chairman. He has served 34 years on the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital Foundation Board and has served as Chairman and all other executive board leadership positions. He has been a member of the Valero Alamo Bowl Board for 31 years, serving as its Chairman in 2003 and 2013. And he has provided his leadership to many other organizations, including the SAISD Foundation Advisory Council, UTSA College of Business Advisory Council, UTSA Roadrunner Foundation Board, Visit San Antonio, UT Health, San Antonio Rotary Club, Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health Board, Southwest Research Institute, and more.
